As President and Co-Founder of the Turner Collaborative Family Foundation, Robert “Rob” Turner brings decades of experience in education, public service, media, and community leadership to the Foundation’s mission of empowering students and families facing economic challenges.

Rob currently serves as a founding Councilman for the City of Stonecrest, Georgia, and is the founder and Chair of the Stonecrest Film and Entertainment Commission, where he works to create educational, workforce development, and economic opportunities through partnerships with the film, television, music, and digital media industries.

A lifelong advocate for education, Rob co-founded Augustine Preparatory Academy of Atlanta with his wife, Vickie, and served as Chancellor for nine years, providing leadership in governance, operations, budgeting, and strategic growth. His commitment to community service has also included roles as a PTA President, GED Instructor, youth athletic coach, pastor, and nonprofit leader.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and a Master’s Degree in Radio, Television, and Film. He is also a proud charter member of the Theta Eta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., a founding board member of Grio’s Fire Theater Ensemble, and co-host of the nationally broadcast radio show, Let’s Talk About It with The Turners on WAOK.

Rob and Vickie are proud parents of three adult children and devoted grandparents to six wonderful grandchildren.
